"The food here is incredible. The beef is SO tender and soft. The chuff is held in high regard to another restaurant in Derby.. nothing but praise. If you like supreme quality beef, come here. Its quite and the owners are really lovely people.. its a hidden gem. I've travelled a long way to come here.. Its the nicest Chinese I've ever had."

"Easter sunday evening. Very quiet. They served well, three of my favourite mains. Plenty of food and choice available. Reasonable price. Staff helpful. One of the original classic restaurants with fantastic decor. Sadly the eating area was basic and lacked atmosphere. Perhaps authentic music might help."

"Really amazing food here! I really enjoyed everything that was brought out to the table. We went for the Set Meal D which included a variety of starters for each person 3 dishes from the set meal menu (for the 2 of us) and a platter of fresh fruit! I understand these are difficult times for everyone in every profession however if my food is taking a while I would still expect someone to let us know whilst they're passing by our table that that's the case. I've also realised that the waiter who served us didn't exactly know what was included in the set meal as once we've finished our main meal we remembered that there should also be a fruit platter and when we asked him about it, he didn't know about it at all. There also seems to be a bit of lack of communication between the staff members as we asked the waiter, who brought us our food, for some more water but because he was busy he told us to ask the other waitress instead who was also busy clearing tables at the other side of the dining room which meant we had to wait another 5 minutes with empty glasses to get her attention to get some drinks as approaching people is now very frowned upon due to Covid-19. Besides that, it was still a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to go there and will hopefully manage to come here again myself soon too but there is definitely place for improvement"

"A first time visit.. loved it! We came here on a whim. No recommendations, we simply noclticed the beautiful authentic restaurant from the carpark and said, we have to try it. Beautiful clean and tidy restaurant, detail is aimed to perfection here. The staff are warm and friendly. Helpful and hospitable. We ordered starters, the soft shell crab was a delicacy. The food was flawless. Extreme attention to detail in the effort had been put into every dish served. I had Singapore noodles, spicy! Highly recommended. The toilets were clean and tidy.. we will be returning. I couldn't fault this place if I tried, it is made up of character and love. A pleasure to say the least."

The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout our meal. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes, along with some unique house specialties. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was also a standout crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a delicious tangy sauce. The portions were generous, I also appreciated that they offered a good selection of vegetarian options, which makes it a great choice for diverse dietary preferences. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned and complemented the main dishes well. Next time I surely go for the buffet dinner. Options in the buffet menu quite tempting."
